History:Mahua oil has a rich history. Since ancient times it is used to cure many diseases and is also used as a flavoring agent in the food industry. Earlier people used to eat the flowers of this plant raw and they also used to use the oil of this plant for various uses.
Uses:The flowers of this plant can be eaten raw, boiled, or cooked. In South India, these flowers are often used when there is no sugarcane available. Mahua oil is used as a skin toner, hair fixer, for cooking, lighting lamps and also for making soaps sometimes.
Therapeutic Benefits:Mahua trees are generally found in the deciduous forests of India and Nepal. This tree is used as timber, fuel, organic manure, liquor and as an effective medication for number of problems. It is used for bleeding gums, Bronchitis, diabetes, constipation, and is used for other health benefits.
