Mahua Certified Organic Oil
Mahua tree is most commonly found in Central and North Indian plains and forests. It is a fast-growing evergreen tree that can grow up to 20m in height. It is adaptable to arid environments. The fruits of this plant are considered edible and the seeds of this plant contain 40% oil in them. This oil is used as cooking oil. It is also used to keep the snakes away in some remote areas. The flowers of Mahua tree doesn't stay on them for long and they usually bloom at night and fall at dawn. These are also used in wedding rituals in certain parts of the world mainly in villages. People weave these flowers in plates and bowls and often use them as utensils.

Uses
- The flowers of this plant can be eaten raw, boiled, or cooked. In South India, these flowers are often used when there is no sugarcane available. Mahua oil is used as a skin toner, hair fixer, for cooking, lighting lamps and also for making soaps sometimes.
