The wintergreen oil is derived by extracting the leaves of the Gaultheria procubens which belongs to the Ericaceae family. The plant is also known as gaultheria, checkerberry and teaberry. The plant has fresh red berries, leaves of leathery texture and it bears white flowers. This certified organic oil has originated from North America.
