History:German Chamomile was revered by the Ancient Egyptians as they offered it to the God of Sun, Ra. It was also extensively grown to benefit from its healing properties. There were garden beds filled with German Chamomile and people would lay on it to reduce stress and depression. It was also used to treat female health problems and ease childbirth.
Uses:German Chamomile Oil is being used in the cosmetic industry on a large scale as it helps in providing moisture and sooth the irritated skin. The oil is also added to hair products such as shampoos and conditioners. The oil can be used to make natural body mist. Mix few drops of German Chamomile along with lavender and rose otto oil. Add water to this blend and the body mist is ready.
