Eucalyptus Globulus Oil is derived from the leaves of the Eucalyptus globules plant. It is also known as Tasmanian Blue Gum and Southern Blue Gum. The plant is native to Australia and grows up to 98 to 180 feet. Eucalyptus Globulus plant is different from Eucalyptus radiate and Eucalyptus citridora variants of the Eucalyptus plant. The plant is the most popular variant among other Eucalyptus plants as it can grow rapidly and can adjust to any climatic conditions. The leaves of the plant are steam distilled to obtain the Eucalyptus Globulus Oil. It has a camphor-like aroma and the color of the liquid is clear to pale yellow. The oil is widely used to treat muscle pains and respiratory problems.
