Armoise Essential Oil

Armoise essential oil is obtained from the flowers and leaves of Armoise and the method used for extraction is Steam Distillation. This Oil has a very bitter-sweet aroma and is pale yellow in color. Armoise is also known as Mugwort which is actually a perennial herb having purple-red flowers. This oil is used in various medicinal and therapeutic uses. It has got various properties like nervine, stimulant, diaphoretic, diuretic, carminative, antispasmodic, and many others. It is also used to treat the problems like arthritis, insomnia, rheumatism, and many other related problems. The Chemical composition of this Oil includes Beta-thujone, Alpha-thujone, Gamma-terpinene, Alpha-terpineol, Alpha-guaiene, Alpha& beta-pinene, and Cineole.
