Orange Absolute Oil is one of the most expensive essential oils, but the cost is worth its therapeutic properties and incredible scent. This essential oil is water distilled from the white small flowers from the tree of Bitter Orange. The Orange flowers must be distilled immediately after picking, as they decay very quickly. The scent resembles the smell of fresh bitter orange. Orange Blossom is used in making number of perfumes which may be heavy or light colognes. It forms an important fixative base in high quality expensive colognes and perfumes. Orange absolute is similar to Neroli absolute, only difference is that it is prepared by solvent extraction it is dark orange in colour and the extract is much thicker than Neroli Oil.
