Macadamia Carrier Oil

Macadamia oil has a high concentration of monounsaturated fatty acids - oleic acid, palmioleic acid, linoleic acid and linolenic acid. It also contains Omega-3 and Omega-6 and very high Omega 7. Its composition is close to that of sebum (the oil that is naturally produced by our bodies). Hence it works in conjunction with the other nutrients in the skin and is naturally inclined to be absorbed by the body. It is sensitive to light and degrades when exposed to it. Under proper storage conditions - cool place and out of direct sunlight, macadamia oil gives a shelf life of 1 year.
