The Sweet Almond Carrier Oil is derived from sweet almonds which are also known as 'King of Nuts'. It can be found in parts of the Middle East and Southern Asia. The almond plants belong to the Rosaceae family of the Flora kingdom. It bears fruits that are drupe and it consists of a hard shell the covers the seeds that are almonds. These are cold pressed to obtain the sweet almond carrier oils. It has a mild fragrance which is similar to all other types of carrier oils.
