Citronella Certified Organic Oil

Citronella oil is an essential oil which is obtained from the leaves and stems of different species of lemongrass. The oil is used extensively as a source of perfumery chemicals such as citronellal, citronella, and geraniol.

Citronella oil is obtained from the green and tall blades of Cymbopogon winterianus grass. The plant of Citronella belongs to the Poaceae family that grows to a height of 3 feet. Although it is native to Sri Lanka, now it is cultivated in many parts of the world. The leaves of this plant are also used to extract oil.
