The Lemongrass Oil is made from the fresh leaves or the dried ones of the Lemongrass plant with the use of steam distillation. This particular oil has a very lemony and sweet smell. It has a very significant characteristic i.e. it is a bit of dark yellowish in color and sometimes amber too. Well, it is also found in red with a viscosity of water. The principal chemical components of this particular oil are citronellal, geraniol, myrcene, geranyl acetate, neral, nerol. Apart from this, it also has traces of citral and limonene.

This oil is great, the smell is divine. I put a couple of drops in my bath (goes well with lavender bubble bath) and feel like I am at a spa. I find the smell very relaxing. I also put it in the rinse cycle when I am washing clothes. Leaves them smelling lovely.
