Ginger lily oil is extracted from the flower petals of Ginger Lily herb by using steam distillation process. Ginger Lily is mainly grown in the tropical and semi-tropical areas of India. It is also found in most areas of Europe and North America... It is a kind of herb, also known as White Butterfly Ginger Lily. The oil has a fresh, woody and spicy odour and it is found in shades of yellow. It should not to be confused with ginger oil, which is from the root distillation of ginger, whereas ginger lily oil is from the flowers of the white ginger plant. It's also known as Awa-Puhi in Hawaii.
