Geranium oil is derived from the leaves of the Geranium plant. The method used for obtaining the oil is steam distillation. These plants are found in the southern part of Africa, mainly in Madagascar. To produce a single drop of this oil, over a hundred kilograms of plants are needed. This is the reason why the oil is very expensive. This shrub can grow up to be about a meter in height. Its leaves are fairly pointed and on the edges it has pink white flowers.
This oil is also called the Geranium Bourbon Essential Oil. The oil is a pale green in color and is easily soluble in other essential oils.
